In Fact, One Of Our Clients Said It Best: “It might take a little bit longer; it might cost a little bit more… But it’s worth every-single-penny.”
Bottom Line: Trust is a Hard Earned Commodity
It takes time to earn someone’s trust and only minutes to destroy it. We know what it takes for an individual to decide to open up their home to a group of strangers. That’s why we want you to take the time to read, listen and see for yourself what others are saying about us.
We are not asking you to trust us; we are asking you for the opportunity to earn your trust as we have with all our countless other customers.

“Remodeling Wizards of Maryland installed a 36″x80″ top of the line ProVia Front Entry Door with oval leaded glass and a 3 point locking system. They also installed a new high end storm door. I should point out that the door they replaced was a replacement door that was manufactured to slip into the existing frame which means the door being replaced was 2” smaller than the new door.
I am a retired Maryland Home Improvement Contractor so I have very high standards, so high in fact that many contractors can’t meet them because of time and money constraints
My wife and I had interviewed several companies offering to install a ProVia door, a project I didn’t have the time to take on myself this year. John’s price was so much lower, probably because there was no salesman’s commission built into the price, that we were able to upgrade to a better door with more features and still save a lot of money compared to the other quotes. The door arrived while I was on an extended trip and with some trepidation I told my wife to go ahead and have the door installed while I was out of town. I wanted to be there while the door was being installed to make sure nothing was overlooked. I needn’t have worried. Danny and his helper did the same high quality, professional job I would have done had I installed the door myself. In fact, they did a much better job than I could have done because Danny installs these doors every day and I only installed doors infrequently as a contractor. Even though the new door was taller and wider than the original door, you couldn’t tell the difference when the job was completed, except for the amazing new door, that is. To tell the truth, Danny went way above and beyond the call of duty. In addition to having to replace all the interior and exterior trim, and tearing out back to the studs, without damaging the walls or exterior vinyl siding he also had to remove a deck board then match and replace it because it had originally been badly cut when the original replacement door was installed and this irregularity showed when the new door went in. He also discovered a bee’s nest and some rotten trim below the surface of the deck which he just went ahead and took care of even though the new deck board would have covered this up and it would not be noticeable. One final note. The exterior trim around the door was always going to be an issue. A molded, foam product called Fypon which mimics decorative colonial trim surrounded the old door. We knew this trim would not fit the new wider, taller door so I had asked John to factor in replacing it with a flat composite trim that I could just overlay with new Fypon trim upon my return. Danny very carefully removed the old Fypon in such a way that I could potentially rip it down and reuse it which I attempted to do. Saving the old Fypon trim turned out to be very fortunate because when I went online I could not find a cap trim that would fit the space but because Danny saved the old trim I was able to reuse the top cap by ripping it down to size along the bottom edge. I wasn’t so lucky with the side trim. Once ripped to size it really didn’t look good enough to be placed next to such a fantastic looking door so I ended up ordering a new pair of side trim that are almost an exact fit. This new Fypon trim installed very easily over the composite trim which Danny installed to make sure the house didn’t look torn up for the two months I was out of town.
When It comes to home improvement projects I mostly do them myself but if I ever had the need to hire a contractor for a future home improvement project I would not hesitate to contact John at Remodeling Wizards of Maryland. They are the best company I have ever dealt with in my 20 plus years as a home improvement contractor and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to family, friends and former clients who, by the way, still contact me occasionally looking for referrals for their home improvement projects.”
“Mary and I are quite pleased with the door. The project certainly meets, or even exceeds our expectations.
Danny and his helpers did a great job with the installation. Their attention to detail and desire to make everything right was quite evident. In addition, they are quite personable and we were comfortable having them in our home, not something we can say for most of the workmen who have been here.
We would be quite willing to allow you to use us as a referral source, if it would be helpful to you.”
“John, thank you for ordering a new door! If your installers had not noticed the ding, we may have not noticed ourselves… That is very good customer service and company policy you have for your customers! Thanks for ordering us a new door! The installers were very professional and courteous! Thanks for a great experience!”
“Linda and I are very pleased with our decision to use Remodeling Wizards of Maryland as the contractor to install a new front door on our home. From our initial meeting thru the final stages of installation, we have found you and your staff to be very knowledgeable, caring, and easy to work with. It was quite obvious that you have the customers’ best interest as a priority. Most contractors get the initial sales part done correctly, but fall short after that. It was gratifying to find that you worked with us on all facets of the job. This included; finding options that fit our budget, multiple calls to schedule and confirm installation, having well trained, knowledgeable and friendly staff that not only did a professional installation, but also took the time to answer our many questions and explain some of the details of the installation. It was a job well done!
The purpose of this note is to say thank you, and to let you know that we highly recommend anyone looking to replace their front door to give you a call before making a decision. We are glad to have found you as a contractor, and will certainly call again as future projects develop.
It was a pleasure to do business with you and your company!”
“Great job! We love our newly enclosed porch and will certainly call on the Remodeling Wizards of Maryland team when we are ready for more remodeling. High quality work, done quickly and professionally. Thank you.”
“It is so nice to work with professionals who love what they do and take pride in their work! My window install was a hassle-free process from start to finish. John and Marirose helped me to select windows and the crew quickly installed them (in one day!). They look great and save us money on our energy bill! On the installation day, the crew kept everything spotless and worked quickly and efficiently. I had total confidence in their work. 3 years later we still love the product.”
“Okay where do I begin…? John and his wife Marirose are an amazing team. I met them a year prior to getting the work done on my home but their professional and personable demeanor made them stand out of the crowd (they genuinely cared). I have a corner lot, so I get tons of Contractors attempting to win my business. The following year (2013), I called Remodeling Wizards of Maryland and I had the following work completed on my single family home. They replaced the roof, siding, the rear sliding glass door leading to my deck, my front storm door, they even painted the Front door (Great color choice Marirose). But here is the icing on the cake, John had Danny build a Portico over the front door entry way of my house that is simply amazing! Everyone (including other contractors) has commented on how professional a job Remodeling Wizards of Maryland did. They even added outside lighting to the front of my house. It definitely has that “Wow” factor!!! The entire Remodeling Wizards of Maryland family goes beyond the call of duty (they take pride in their work). If I had to rate them on a scale of 1- 10 (10 being the best), I would give them an 11! Lol Because I now consider them friends. Much continued success with you company!
Thanks again for the marvelous job!”
“Thanks again for the marvelous job!”
“To summarize my experience with Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, it was AWESOME! My deck is the envy of the neighborhood. It is by far the best looking and the best constructed one in the entire community. I have no doubt that my deck will be around alot longer than I will be! It’s built to last and it’s beautiful, as is the rest of the work they did. The sliding glass door is lifetime guaranteed and Danny went above and beyond insulating it to help ensure that no water will get thru. The underdecking system turned out great as well.
I’m so happy that I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, team. From John, his lovely wife Marirose, Danny and Danny’s team (Josh, Dave, and Rodney), you will not find a better group of people that take pride in their work and go the extra mile to make sure your project is a complete success and exceeds your every expectation. Thank you Remodeling Wizards of Maryland,! I can’t wait until my next project!”
“John, door looks great. Danny and josh are the best. They arrived on time, completed the job and cleaned up! I am so pleased!”
Feel free to use our name and number as a reference for potential clients. We feel very comfortable doing that for you. Danny, Rodney, George and Steve were all pleasant to work with. I know things started off a little shaky, but smoothed out in the end. A special thanks to George who had to come back on several occasions to deal with minor problems. He always had a smile and worked very diligently to get everything right. The patio doors work like a dream now that they seem to have settled into place and George adjusted the locks. Danny and George both have great people skills. They really worked hard to make everything right. I will be contacting you probably this time next year for a new front door, another patio door to replace the remaining older one and to do the two windows in our master bath. I will probably see you at the home show again next year at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro if you are there?
Please say hello to your wife for us, and thanks again!”
Thanks much for the excellent service as always.”
They look really good!”
Thanks again!!!!”
The door looks just beautiful. Glad I made the choice to go with the textured steel. Has the feel of a wooden door and the “look” I was aiming for. The hallway is so much brighter and seems larger.
Thanks again for a great job. Happy Holidays”
Thank you for the exceptional job.”
He had some good ideas about how to deal with the microwave job in my kitchen so we’ll be talking more on how to get this in and everything matched up.
Thanks for a job well done.”
